Additionally, Design Construction has
been a multiple “Fine Homes,” Better Homes and Gardens “Homes of Distinction,”
and Parade of Homes “Best of Show” awards winner. The principals
of Design Construction have invested heavily in the industry, each serving
multiple terms on the Board of the Homebuilder’s Association serving
Portage and Summit Counties – including serving as President of the Association
(1994, 2000 and 2007). Design Construction has been awarded the
Association’s “Builder of the Year” designation three times (1991, 2004
and 2006).

Green in late 2006 and we cannot find
enough good things to say about our experience with the Staff of Design

Since 1961 we have moved around the United
States, have lived in seven states, and
15 houses, so we had a lot of experiences with which to compare this
most recent move.
Planning and designing our new home was one of the “easiest” and most
“painless”
ventures in which we have ever been involved. The people we encountered
at Design are
the warmest, fun-loving, and the most professional staff we have had
the opportunity
with which to work.
During the nine months of planning and building they literally became
an extension of
our family. We will never hesitate to recommend Design Construction,
and already
have, as “The Best” Company with which to do business."

We had people tell
us that we could not have chosen a worse time to build a new
home the way the economy is today. We feel just to opposite…we couldn’t have found
a better time to build with Design Construction at Stillwood. We
took advantage of pre-model prices, and picked from the best
of the available sites – our home has lovely woods on two sides. We
get to enjoy the deer and a wide variety of birds on a daily
basis right from the comfort of our family room.
One of the advantages of Stillwood is that it is so close to restaurants and shopping – we have the best of both worlds…surrounded by nature, but nearby all of the conveniences. Our home is exactly what we dreamed of and more. Design Construction has impressed us with their quality of workmanship and the professionalism of their staff. They also stayed on budget and on time. Design Construction is a great organization to work with – and we recommend Stillwood to everyone we know.
